Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials to specified destinations.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding loading, unloading, and securing cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a heavy truck driver, with knowledge of driving techniques and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy trucks in various weather and road conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented approach.
- Physical stamina and endurance to handle long hours of driving.
