Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks in accordance with specified welding codes and procedures.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding equipment, select appropriate welding tools and materials, and prepare workpieces.
- Weld metal components using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
